1: On Halo3 change Armor color to all white as this makes it easier to search for the right area in hex.

2: Open Gamerprofile with hex editor and search for 02 00 00 00 02 00 00 00 02 in hex values - this is the white armor colour.

3: Scroll upwards around 13 lines until you see this hex value below. Note the xx's is just your own profile ref's but you will see it begins and ends with what's shown in bold - again this is to make sure you're in the right place, the 63 E8 3F FF line will the the FIRST 63 E8 3F FF line you come across scrolling up from the area where the armour colour hex is shown.

4: Highlighting from the first 00 after the 06 value from the code above, go all the way down to the last FF just before your armour colour values then make sure you paste write (not insert) the following values given below over it...

Anyone experienced with hexing will see they are in the right place, showing the 01 30 values underneath the 63 E8 3F FF line. Maybe paste the above values first into a blank hex page to look more familiar to you?

This whole area in the hex determines armour unlocks and I can only get it to unlock Hayabusa & EoD on profiles so far...

If anyone has a Recon Armour account or can make a blank one with a Dev Kit, post the same Hex Values here so I can compare.

Yeah it'll be good to see what values are changed on a recon profile in that area, also for Recon theres another area in the gamerprofile where the Bungie Machine ID is stored (its on everyones profile) but the code around it may trigger it online... you'd need to find your machine id using a film editor and a clip, then search in hex using hex values the machine ID code...

If you could post from about 5 lines above and below that too would or may help me...

Recon Cant be hex its server side. I added odst to my game and unlock all ach for that plus halo 3 and it worked online but Recon was unlocked offline

Ya recon is server side and how do you add games to your profile?

P.S. you dont get recon online until ODST comes out

I added ODST and it didn't unlock Recon at all...online or offline despite Recon being achievement related...so perhaps a title update to Halo3 needs to roll out to allow that to happen?

Adding a game is pretty simple...

Login to Live on your dashboard, then pull out your ethernet or wireless usb so that the profile stays on screen and you are now offline. Then put in any game, but you will need to know its .gpd number. Play the game for a few seconds, log out of your profile...

Then open profile in Hex, find the game you've just played .gpd number in the profile - the right place to edit is where the game title will be present and close to where it should say dashboard either a few lines above or below it. Now hex it to the game you want to add, by changing the .gpd number to the game you want to add.

Rehash/resign then log into xbox live...wait for about 30 seconds and game has been added.
If MS haven't made the achievements live then you wont see it - just the games icon instead.

This is the Recon Values taken from a Profile with Recon Unlocked, going from the 1st actual 63 E8 3F FF line above the armour colour code area right down to 3 values past the 01 01 01 easily visible in hex - but it doesn't work on another profile, not like the Hayabusa & E.o.D armor does - there's something else, somewhere in the profile - Notice the changes compared to Hayabusa & EoD I posted days ago with that in Bold

To be fair, I think as well as the code changes below, it also must write data into the very very first unreadable part of the gamerprofile to allow it to be unlocked... by the time we work it out probably ODST would have been released anyway LOL

As well, I have all the recon armor codes to unlock recon. Now that this tells me where they are, I'm going to test it. I'll compare what I have with what the guy provided above, then test it. If it works, I'll think about making an app for it. You can't unlock ALL armor using one spot btw, the Head, Body, Left Shoulder and Right Shoulder are separate. I bet you found the body or the head lol...

PS: If you can explain to me what a GPD is, then I'll partially beleive you lmao...

I'm not a member of Blue Shadows...the message for adding a game to your gamerprofile is pretty much commonly known in lots of places. My message is a shortened down version of how Mattyovers described his method of obtaining the ODST achievements weeks ago...

The first person to release the tutorial (I believe) was Rampant Pogo from BlueShadowz.
It seems like a coincidence that you post a tutorial after he did.

I unlock all armor except recon
all the campaign in legendary .And i get the recon config
