We have finally hit an important milestone of 10,000 members. I'd like to thank everyone who visits iBotModz, and to hope they will keep coming


Now that were semi-settled with IPB 3, I will release some more info on the upcoming iBotModz changes.

I've been working on the new homepage more by integrating a login box and using that login to have a "logged in" only page. This page links to our downloads and what not. I'm busy learning more about positioning CSS elements since my current way only works on my specific browser and resolution. Also, work on the Help Desk has halted until an updated version of it is released. Its just too buggy for a live environment (more updates on that later). Updates for IPB and the Shoutbox are coming late next week, so those annoying little bugs should be fixed. IPB 3, if you didn't know, Is now only 3 weeks public. In 3 weeks our board has become pretty modified, as time passes more and more modifications will be released....that I'll try out everyone once in awhile.

Regarding the REP system and its flaws and lack to proper VIP status, I'm looking into an alternative or fixes. This has priority now.

I'm also looking into investing in a server for hosting files so I don't have to leech off of Fattwam. I'd like to host files up to 10MB in size, so that new server would make that possible.

Well, I just did a search of accounts with a post count less than 5, and there were more than 9600 results!

That leaves 400 accounts with a post count greater than 4, right?

Well... the search results cabe back with less than 60!

Now unless I'm doing something really silly, or the search thingy is missing a load of accounts, or people's post counts have been reset, this means there are less than 60 active members on this site! And those are just the ones with more than 4 posts!


At the time of posting this, there are 10,363 members signed up.

That means that the milestone should infact be "more than 10,000 spam accounts!"

there are lots of people who come here but dont post, lots of the new members just come and look at the topic but never post in them. i dunno if there scared or what....? but they do keep coming back just never post
