    For awhile we've had 5 support sections called

    • Halo 3 Support/Help
    • Halo 2 Support/Help
    • Xbox 360 Support
    • Xbox Support
    • Computer Support
    • GFX Help
    Those are a lot of forums and just cause tons of extra space. Through the next couple of days these will be either merged into a forum called "Help Desk" or an additional modification will be added called "Helpdesk"

    Updates will be posted here.

    Lots of forums have the 'Help Desk' Name.

    Hopefully it's useful, it seems no matter what you do, people still post in wrong sections.

    Keep it one forum, under Lobby.

    Remember in phpbb3 you could select [Support], [Solved], try to bring those to be in that forum.


    Example..

    You set your thread title, description and message, and a required option to select is one of the forums you are removing:

    [360 Support]
    [Xbox Support]
    [Halo 3 Support]
    [Halo 2 Support]
    etc...

    All current help sections will be merged into an archived read only forum called "Help Desk" in hopes that it can be used for archived purposes.

    Otherwise that "Help Desk" tab will be ready shortly.

    You really shot divide it into sections, people will still just ask in the H3/etc.. forum.

    Yeah I'm sorry. I'm going to just try it out this way at first and if that works out horribly I will look for a mod for topic tags and do that.

    Thats what the H3 and H2 support sections are for.

    I mean a modding in general section. CoD modding, Halo modding, and any other game would fall under this category.
