    ok when i try and turn my pc of by going to start , shut down nothing happens it keeps running unless i manualy turn it of by unpluggin it


    my pc isnt slow this has just stated recently dont know why

    im running vista ultmate 32 bit

    Your best bet is to bring it to the computer store and get it fixed. It's probably some registry problem. Try find a registry fixer and scan.

    Try changing the time that services have to shut down, I forgot how to do this so I'll get back to you.

    Have you edited any of the files in the system 32 folder? mine used to do this after i changed some system files..

    strange. You had no violations, but yet the problem exists. It then can be narrowed to your registries.

    yeh that stupid recon think was built just to **** off ppl who used it. find another shutdown.exe from one of your other computers and add it to your system32.
    dnt remember if its in a folder or not

    Take ownership of the shutdown.exe then replace

    Delete it and then replace it.
