whenever i select halo 2 from games on my xbox it says there is a problem with my cd. Why?

Because theres a problem with the CD..?

but when i run the cd normally (not off my hard drive) it works fine but the mods arent there.

i dont know how to take a screen shot,but if it helps i put default.xbe in games/halo 2 and then i made a maps folder and put in all the maps even mainmenu.map and shared.map

This is what you need in the Halo 2 folder

Halo folder

-bink
--intro_60.bik

-maps
--fonts
---*All of the fonts*
mainmenu.map - required
shared.map - required
single_player_shared.map - required
*The other maps you want*

-media
*all the stuff in the media folder*

default.xbe

i didn't know you needed the media file and the font file, but now it works so thx!!!btw how do you patch sppf files?

Just select the sppf file and the originally map to patch the sppf to.

srry about asking so many questions but,when i try it play flood city w/ai the ai never show up in the game its just me.how do i make the ai work?
