Xbox-Underground is strictly devkits, we don't have many users here that have a devkit. It's used for more than just halo, although most of us would ONLY use it for halo (myself [probably] included).

They cost more than 900 GBP, which is 1200 USD, or more. Not something many people can buy.

You need to know PPC, Assembly and C++ / C# / VB to code a game, modifying an existing one basically requires C# / VB.

Try XU, although it takes a while, you will have to prove you know programming, and that your aren't going to use it for JUST halo, then one of them might sell you one.

True that... A demo kit can run unsigned code it is just you need to have the .xex resigned by a dev key pair. The demo kit is the best way to go to mod halo 3 although that is a waste as well.

If your not lying about developing games i would learn PPC, Assembly and C++ / C# / VB like slip said
before even thinking about trying to buy a devkit.

Also If you "say" you will develop games, dont be afraid to get one from the Microsoft Xbox 360 Middleware Program, or keep "saying" you want to make games, and horribly hide the fact you want it to mod Halo 3. (not to Korrupt, i beleive you'll make games because you can actually code, along with DarkieMcSlippie, but me on the other hand would use it for halo)

Lol KD you can't code, can you? 0_o

But yea, learn Assembly and how these things work, honestly I would take some courses in this before even thinking about blowing money on a piece of hardware like this.

lol it isnt worth it. i mean all the halo 3 modding is awesome and stuff. but even if you are going to mod other games, it takes some skills.

Exactly it is not like he has the connections to really use dev kit's made games to 'demo' them out.
