k i am gonna start by saying we need a new joiners forum. I see so many members online that dont post, give them a section to post in. they will become more active if they see so many people welcoming them to ibotmodz. they will be like "omg nice ass site ftw".

and do you guys think we should remove a couple inactive sections? just a though.

and maybe we can add a sports section for hockey, soccer, lacrosse, paintballing, football, etc

Legacy, I made a post a few weeks back about a intro forum... It really didn't get much interest...

But I agree that we should add a sports section, that would get lots of interest I think.

not necessarily... maybe they are nervous or dont know where to start. its like giving someone a great big ol' welcome sign. i think the introduction forum is a really good idea and one that should go through and become a reality.

same for the sports section. it could be a really big hit with all the members that play sports of are interested in them. (favorite teams, sports, etc...) both of these are great ideas.

What forums if you had to pick 3 would you dump?

We can't keep adding froums, we have to remove some. Not until were as popular as xbox-scene can you add 100 forums.

Well, isn't halo 3 forum being reduced?

You said that you might be getting rid of the OS forum.

GFX resources and GFX help could all be merged into one?

I was such a leecher when I joined original IBM, and certain people helped me and welcomed me and guess what? I'm still here. What I'm implying is that if members feel welcome, they may stay. Therefor I support a Introduction section.

these are my suggestions, some are a little ifffy and u may not wanna do them.

form h2 modding tuts, and h2 glitching together.

maybe form the media section, with video editting.

and form website construction, with tech coding

form pc hardware, and programs


and i cant believe i am saying this

form together gfx general, with gfx help

and maybe form the battle section with the showoff section


hope this helpes, because i think the sports section will be mroe active than something like the wii section ahaha

Just merge the gfx sections to one forum.

You could remove some of the pc forums and add my PC General forum.

Also i know that not all of them are leachers, i try and help every new member,
but some members are here just for the sole purpose of downloading stuff and leaving.

I say this would be a good idea for when the site does get more popular. This would be interesting to have but Peaches is trying to keep the categories and forums to a low amount.

its a really great idea dude. you and dansomee have a really great idea here. you really do have my full support. lots of love dudes.

and i understand peaches wants to keep the forums limited till we get more popular but a welcome section is definatly worth it.
