    xbox update problem

    i cant download the new xbox 360 update that came out today, it starts to donwload then just stops and says: cant download update, please go to settings then test the internet settings and other stuff
    and if the problem persist please go to www.xbox.com/support

    please help

    Starting Tuesday morning at 0200 Pacific when you sign into Xbox Live youâ??ll be prompted for a mandatory dashboard update. The update addresses the issue that a few folks were having with audio and their HDMI connection.


    This update will be rolled out to all Xbox LIVE members around the world over the space of a few hours, so you may not get prompted for the update immediately. Thanks for your patience.

    Consoles without the HDMI connection should not pick the update.

    It seems maybe something happened.

    So, if I have the regular cables for xbl, don't get this update? lol

    I got it to on my arcade box, which doesn't even support regular HD.

    Arcades have HDMI though, don't they?


    Its got the slot, I had to download it and I wasn't even using HDMI.

    It downloaded, sent me to dash and installed, restarted Box, then download another patch.
