Does anyone here know how to mod Portal?
I know you should be able to mod the user settings con file and use the pc commands for it.
Like you can for Left4 Dead. Any help is appreciated.

It's the same as with L4D. Just make sure you set "sv_cheats 1" to a button. Having sv_cheats set to 1 by default doesn't work in Portal or any Orange Box games for some reason. Only L4D.

What offset would I start and end at in like the UserSettings file?

When I try to go to New Game it says the file on my harddrive is corrupted.
Is there any way you culd make a full tutorial?

Edit-Must have used a bad KV. I got a different one. Now it says disc unreadable. :/

I don't know the good KV's from the bad ones anymore. I have a folder of them. Onces you resign a save once bad and transfer it, I found the best thing to do it just start over from a fresh save, then edit it and so on. Because after I resign and fail, I can never get that one to work again.

Well, it doesn't say disc unreadable , but it still says corrupt. :/
I think It may be my KV.

lol, try removing updates to the game that might be why its corrupt.
