You can call it negativity or you can look at it from a realistic point of view. People seem to believe that a dev kit will make you some sort of modding god no matter how much of a $%#^%# idiot you are. You can claim you don't want it just for Halo 3 modding like everyone else, but unless you know PPC you won't be able to mod anything that wasn't moddable on retail, and unless you know C++ you won't be able to develop for it. I know that almost all the people here saying they want dev kits have no idea about PPC, C++, or even 360 files. If the people on here who want dev kits get them, it will be the biggest waste of hardware ever.

Yeah but it's a modding site, not developing site, so Gabe_k noob or not, you cant stop people for buying dev to mod, I recently got a deal for a demo for 600$, and I will probably buy it to mod H3
