Yeah its a free forum software, but how to run it?

Running a local copy on your computer won't exactly work, and SMF doesn't seem to offer free hosting.

You would need a server with both php and mySQL to run this efficiently.

well u don't need a internet for people to see it, it can be job, house, school net work and its only the tools to make it

also iv been here for about a year its just that i never posted much and i kinda forgot about it and stuff

Fail. Don't download a nulled or illegal copy. You get no security updates and is really easy to tell if it is illegal.

Yeah, IPB may be better but for a hobbyist its not really practical because of the price, so board software like PhpBB and SMF are the best choice, SMF is pretty good and easy to run if you have never run a board before.

There are others that are free,

Yeah, IPB may be better but for a hobbyist its not really practical because of the price, so board software like PhpBB and SMF are the best choice, SMF is pretty good and easy to run if you have never run a board before.

lol i just posted a free download off ipb look up at my post it does not matter if it is illegal who cares really. I download like illegal stuff every day and iv never got caught lol and never will hopefully
