Hey Peaches, can you get me the post generators from ibotmodz.net/lab.

    I want to re-make them.

Edit: I need them because when my HDD crashed I lost them.

Just tested it, and it took awhile to get the stupid codec installed. Then it worked.

How can I install the codec? When I right click it, it doesn't say install, and I just googled it and couldn't find anything very useful, unless I missed it.

Nevermind, it does say install, but when I click it a window pops up for a split second then goes away and the program still doesn't work for me.

    kk 32bit or 64bit?

If you need to see a list of the Windows Media Player components and codecs installed on your computer, do the following:

    • On the Help menu, click About Windows Media Player.

If the Help menu is not visible, click Organize, point to Layout, and then select Show menu bar.
    • On the About Windows Media Player dialog box, click Technical Support Information.

Your web browser will open a page that includes information about the related binary files, codecs, filters, plug-ins, and services installed on your computer. A technical support person might be able to use this detailed information to help you troubleshoot problems on your computer.

Load that list up then look for either

    xbadpcm.acm or xbadpcm.acm

    I'm on 32 bit and I found xbadpcm.acm.

Edit: It will open my map and play the sounds, but sometimes it says the file is being used by another process and I need to wait a few seconds for it to work, and also what I wanted to do was take the screams of Master Chief when he falls of a cliff and dies and turn them into that scream Patrick made on Spongebob when he kicked Sandy at band practice (lol) but it doesn't show me all the sounds. When I click play all, it plays like 10 more sounds then I can see.

Edit 2: I internalize the sound then replace it and for some reason it always corrupts my map no matter how many times I resign it and with whatever programs. What am I doing wrong?

There used to be a program called like H2 Sound Tools.

I'm gonna find it, because not having much luck either with Ambiance.

Okay, does that program even work on Windows 7? I swear I tried it lots of times before and had no luck.

By the way, sorry I have to waste your time on something most people don't care about anymore lol

Halo 2 modding still surpasses all modding.

Its just becoming a pain because of program compatibility. Halo2 Sound Tools failed miserably for me on Win 7. I'll keep working with Ambiance and see if I can get it to work.

Yeah, Halo2ST just says it stopped working as soon as it opens.

I tried something else, changing the sounds of the shared.map to see if that was a difference, and instead of either not loading my maps correctly or not playing sounds or whatever a corrupted shared.map would do, it just reset all the sounds back to the original.
