However, what if I want an upgraded like 8 GIG drive. Can I only load as much as a SD card can hold? Or is there a way to run a flash drive with some type of firmware on it?

Im no Wii expert, but id assume so. You could do it on the gamecube if you installed a USB drive. And the two arent that much different. Other than the motion sensor of course.

i dont know much abut wii s but if it has any internal memmery u could just replace it with a harddrive
how do u do the gamecube??

Those hdds are F|_|cking expensive! You can buy a 2tb hdd for the price of one 160gbhddits a solid slate drive, so you would have to figure out the file system the wii uses then get a solid slate drive and so on..
