so about two or more years ago when i jtags were getting popular i got one but they didnt give me anything else besides just the console (no nand or key stuff). but after a while i wanted to update the dash, and didnt do it right or skipped steps so now it doesnt boot up. i tought maybe using my nand-x i got forever ago would help and that i would just put in a new nand to replace the bad one.

method i had done was replace my nand?? with another "updated" one (which was what the tutorial told me to do) and restart the console.

so my question is, is this fixable, am i screwed regardless and if fixable how can i go about doing this?

not sure what other info i should include but..
    xenon
tried to update to later nxe dash?
    did shady deal at 7/11

    Didn't understand that at all.

If you boot via clicking the eject button, do you boot into Xell? You can dump nand via that (assuming you have updated xell), and that should allow you to create an image which you then can flash.

i had no idea what i was doing then and forgot everything now.(grammar is also not the best)

Xell: it was updated when i got it. that was 2-3 years ago.

also, what image file would i use, just a nand?

Xell (newer) have nanddumps along with cpu keys.

With CPU key, 1BL key (google for it), and nand you can create your own image to flash.
