    A recursive function is a function that calls itself.

    Example:

    What you posted is a linear search

    While is in there, look further down.

    I mean a "do while" loop.

    int i = 0;

do
{
i++;
}while(i < 10);

    That example really doesn't prove to be helpful. But it can be very helpful whenever you need to do something atleast once, then repeat the action based on the results.

    Should just be called a for loop not "for next". While your at it why not cover do while (they can be helpful) and foreach.

    Why care if he has made progress or not in Halo or not. He made a video that he thought was cool (it looked pretty cool) and wanted to share it. Why does everyone have to flame about any map modding video posted anywhere?

    Even if we get the key, thats only like the "hint" key. Then we can decode/decrypt with it. Its like National Treasure 2. We have to steal the key, then decode it.

    You have to create a network bridge to get xbox live and media center both to work. Try googling it, its what I do with my laptop. If you can't find a tutorial how to do it after some searches I'll try to look for you.

    Ya didn't seem to be a big hit. I loved it in Halo 2 but it doesn't seem to play as well in Halo 3. Maybe with quicker respawns or something it might play better.

    Basically, you should save as new map before you xsata, it's always better to hex edit the 116KB maps. It's the same, its just like on your xbox it's compressed, that's all.

    Ya I always seem to have problems with those 176kbs when I put them back on my hdd

    When your on halo 3 and you look at the size of your forge map it always says 56.5kb. However when I XSATA the usermap con onto my computer it is 176kb anyone know why it is like this?

    There is a .map iso injector, does that mean we can .map mod on a retail xbox?

    No. But gamer pictures can be stored in CON files. All gamer pictures on xbox live are stored on their server and when you select your gamer picture they load the gamer picture with the same filename in the CON file from their servers. The gamer picture injector just searchs through Xbox's website and tries to find all of the pictures for a certain game. From finding them on the website it can also find this unique filename for the picture. It will then put the pictures into a CON file with this filename and the picture (though putting the picture in the CON file is not necessary). So if your connected to Xbox Live it will then load the correct image from their servers or if you are not it will assign whatever picture is in the CON file.

    Ohh lmao, well thank you and yeah theres not much you could add to it anyway.

    It's a bit buggy and some CON resigners complain saying it isn't a valid CON file because I left out some information in the files that wasn't entirely necessary.

    Huh. Never not been able to find a pic I was looking for. The ID thing is the same folder as it is stored in on the Xbox, not just some random number, if you were curious on what it was exactly. Nice that you finally found it.

    Nothing for the Xbox. Mostly making something for my own use but its getting to the point where I probably won't be able to finish it because I'm not smart enough.

    If you give me any good idea's of something for the Xbox that is possible I might work on it.

    This app fails...

    Japan and US both have the same publication territory NTSC, which means there is no PAL in that program at all.

    If you look at the XML file it is very simple to change it to get games from any region you want. I didn't add them in myself because the file can start to get big quickly.

    Is it really that hard? You just have to find a pic on Xbox Live forums.

    No, say you had the contents of a con file in a folder, and you wanted to make a con file using the files in the folder.

    So for example say you had a left4dead_config.cfg file and a game_instructor_count.txt file in a folder what this program would do is create a con file
    and inject these files into it...

    i dunno if i explained it how i have it imagined in my head.
    but i hope you get the basic idea.

    Seems pointless to me. Not enough uses for it. Use this if you wanna edit L4D UserSetting files

    seems like a cool app nice if they it had themes that you could do as well :)

    You can easily make your own themes. But since they don't store the images for themes online like the do for gamer pictures (for your gamer card) you probably couldn't get real themes.
