#125395 [Vid TuT] How to Mod Your Halo: Reach cR and Armour in With a USB Drive

Posted by DarkRuler on 01 November 2010 - 09:52 PM

Credit to Game TuTs for Modio

    that made me lol

Modio is crap kid and GT is too

also what is the point of this either way its offline only and it has been done before and easily too

Horizon can mod the cR and resign it in about 2 seconds and its better than Modio

but extracting a gpd isn't hard this is what I would use (with only free programs)

    USB XTAF Xplorer
    Le Fluffie
    CONcept

and just modio is crap and a waste of time

also music in vid is annoying

    #122737 Microsoft Killed PC/Xbox Cross-Platform Play Because...

Posted by DarkRuler on 14 August 2010 - 10:56 PM

There was a project that got killed at Microsoft. This project was designed to allow console gamers and PC gamers to interact and battle over a connected environment. Personally I wish it would have stayed the course. I've heard from reliable sources that during the development they brought together the best console gamers to play mediocre PC gamers at the same game... and guess what happened? They pitted console gamers with their "console" controller, against PC gamers with their keyboard and mouse.

The console players got destroyed every time. So much so that it would be embarrassing to the XBOX team in general had Microsoft launched this initiative. Is this why the project was killed Who knows, but I'd love to hear from anyone involved --- what happened?

There actually has been ONE good cross-platform game on the 360/PC

If I remember correctly (the game came out before H3 in '07, the company that made it, FASA, went out of business and Smith and Tinker bought all the IPs from FASA) Bungie helped with part of the game and most people who played it enjoyed the game

There was never any dlc and the only downfall the game had was that it was only multiplayer and lacked many "new" things

If you haven't realized what game Im talking about yet then this it is: Shadowrun

The game basically was "counter-strike with magic" it had so many different ways of playing that you never really played the same game twice with teleporting, gust, smoke, wired reflexes, glider and many other magics and tech that you could "buy" using the money you get from killing people

    ------------------------------------

but there was a balance between PC and 360 on that game which means it can be done for other games because it already has been done

    a) Anything related to the tool "Modio" is prohibited.

you should censor the words "Game-Tuts" too

also, will the VIP requirements change?
because I don't think anyone has gotten VIP after it changed to that

    maybe 50 rep?

#119954 How to get Free Games from EA

Posted by DarkRuler on 22 June 2010 - 02:58 PM

so your saying since they fucked up mercenaries 2, they gave you l4d2 and bc2..?

Ive called a lot, Ive gotten about 5 coupon codes and 6 games from them, but they all come from the same issue of Mercs 2 freezing

#119917 How to get Free Games from EA

Posted by DarkRuler on 22 June 2010 - 08:20 AM

Will this only work for us in UK?

Im in US and it will probably work for UK too, you just need the UK support number (unless its the same one)

    edit-

I found the UK support number so I added it

#119915 How to get Free Games from EA

Posted by DarkRuler on 22 June 2010 - 07:54 AM

So this is how to get free EA games

    Requirements:
-EA Account (1 per call and make sure it is 100%)
    -An E-Mail address
    -A Shipping Address
-A Brain (you have to be smart because they might ask questions)
-EA's Support Number (US: 1-650-628-1001; UK: 0870-243-2435) They are open 10AM - 10PM EST and are closed Sundays
-A Phone Number (when they ask for a number you have to give them a different number each time)

    1. Call EA

    2. Give them your e-mail and phone number

    3. Tell them that you recently got Mercenaries 2 for the 360 and for some reason whenever it tries to connect to the EA server your 360 freezes, but you can play offline perfectly

    4. They'll put you on hold and when they come back they will either tell you whats wrong or go through troubleshooting steps (go to step 7 if they told you what the issue is)

    5. So go through the steps, they will tell you to clear your cache, reset your time, open ports and even download a Fight Night Round 4 demo

    6. They will put you on hold again and come back this time telling you the issue

    7. They will tell you that the servers were for the console version of Mercenaries 2 are down

    8. So then they will either say that there's nothing they can do, will give you a replacement game or will give you a $20 off coupon to the EA Store through e-mail (which can only cover 100% of the Wii Active accessory Pack)

    9. Sometimes for the replacement game they will just send you the game without showing that you own it, but more recently they have been making people get a picture of the game and give that to them (they will tell you how to do that). I have been using ebay since they don't want a pic of the barcode and just a pic of the disc and/or box of the game to prove you own it

    10. They will give you 2 e-mails after that, one confirming it with EA and another from UPS with a tracking number (if you don't get a UPS e-mail, then don't worry, I didn't get one with my L4D2 and I still received it)

If it doesn't work the first time then call again
I have probably called at least 20 times and have only succeeded 6 times
you can use the same address for each call but just not phone number or e-mail because thats how they keep records
you can use the same PHONE just give them a different number, *67 if you want though

I recommend getting Bad Company 2 because you can make the most money from it and sell the VIP code separately

so if you used it and it worked then +rep me

    and enjoy :)

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Reason this is happening is because they took the servers down for the PC version of the game, but at the same time, fucked up the 360 version's servers, they say they are working on an update to fix it but they will most likely it will just be cut off too

#119107 360 Prog: POMA v2 (Pre Order My Ass)

Posted by DarkRuler on 08 June 2010 - 12:00 PM

    I have one question.

When Halo: Reach officially comes out, are you going to add the content it gives you for that?

When I get the game Ill upload the Recon helmet and Honor Guard Armor

but someone else will have to upload the flaming effect (unless my friend gives me his code, which then Ill just upload that too)

but with Valve finding a way to patch it, it might not be possible for Reach

#116447 [How-To] Repair the Xbox 360 Wireless Mic

Posted by DarkRuler on 23 April 2010 - 01:56 PM

you dont replace the battery at all you just fix your broken one but if you are lazy just look o ebay yuo should find a matching one

lol, that was 2 months ago

I already fixed it, I bought a replacement battery off of ebay for $8 (free shipping) and replaced it

but also the way it says to open it actually damaged the headset so it doesn't close all the way

"Look at the back of your Mic where you plug the Charging Cable in, jam a screw driver (Flat Knife its even better) in between the gap and force it open."

that ended up cracking the plastic around the part the charging cable covered and I had to open it a different way

and something else happened (Im not sure what) but its not as clear as these mics are supposed to be and people are higher pitched and sound more electronic through, but after several hours they sound normal like it just needed to warm up

and within this past month I now need to stand up the mic by leaning it against something to be able to charge it

Cerberus Assault Armor and Eviscerator Shotgun
Cerberus assault armor is designed for shock troops, who are expected to turn the tide of battle against creatures or forces that would decimate normal soldiers. The troops demanded three things in its design: shields, armor thick enough to last against a superior foe, and a rechargeable pack to extend a heavy weapon power cell. The only drawback of the armor is its weight, which the troops carry as a point of pride. They have a saying: "Out of shape going in, in shape coming out."
The M-22a Eviscerator Shotgun is a longer-range shotgun with armor-piercing loads. This design also violates several intergalactic weapons treaties, so the M-22a is not distributed to militaries.

what does this program do other than NfSS, CC or MW2, which is simple and free to do in hex, Im a person who likes pictures that actually show what something is capable of especially if I would have to pay $50 for it
