How to remove the blue filter from the Halo 2 main menu

    By SmokiestGrunl

This tutorial will teach you how to remove the blue filter from the Halo 2 main menu. Before continuing on with the tutorial make sure you have the following.

    Check list:
The Halo 2 main menu map
    DotHalo - Download

    1. Open up DotHalo then open the main menu.

    2. Now in the Tags window go [sncr] Scenario and click on scenarios\ui\mainmenu\mainmenu

    3. Now change to the Meta Editor window and then click the Dependencies tag.

    4. Null out egor - effects\screen_effects\blur and egor - effects\screen_effects\desaturate by clicking on the drop down menu and selecting 'Null Out'. Make sure you click the save button after nulling each one.

    5. Now resign and FTP the map to your xbox, you should now see the following result.

Very good, and makes your main menu look cleaner and overall better.

Sorry for the HUGE bump but where does this go? With the rest of the DLC maps?

EDIT: Guessing this can't be done with a regular 360?

Yeah you would need Halo 2 on your harddrive, or just a burned ISO. Since the mainmenu is only there if you've copied it.
