Why do peaches take so long? and what happened to the attachments anyway?

Attachments that were at old site (some mysteriously got deleted, others stayed) work. Images I have saved on my computer from some bot that downloaded them ALL, so I can re-new them. Links I just look at the old site mySQL database to find the right link.
And attachments I just re-uploaded after scanning 4000 files for them.
