It showed the complete destruction of 4 characters and their addicting on various drugs. How they lost everything they had simply due to an addiction. The filming was strange and out of the ordinary, but the movie really mind blowing.
Anyone else seen it?

However, I have seen Requiem for a Dream and almost vomited the first time I saw it. The worst scene is when the girl is on that table and there is the double sided dildo and there's like crap coming off of it. Ew, gross.

Armed with a raw, provocative script penned by 19-year-old Harmony Korine (Gummo), controversial photographer-filmmaker Larry Clark follows a group of aimless New York teens around the city with few parents and even fewer boundaries. Telly (Leo Fitzpatrick) is on a mission to deflower as many virgins as possible with an addle-brained theory that boffing first-timers will protect him from contracting HIV. Trouble is, he already has it.
