I just saw Requiem for a Dream, and besides the fact that there were some disgusting scenes in it.

It showed the complete destruction of 4 characters and their addicting on various drugs. How they lost everything they had simply due to an addiction. The filming was strange and out of the ordinary, but the movie really mind blowing.

Anyone else seen it?

Yeah, I've seen it. Loved it. You should check out some of the director's other films if you liked it. He also directed Black Swan.

Yes, Requiem is pretty I'm not sure what you'd call it. Disturbing I guess. It's up there with Kids and Irreversible.

Never seen Kids, gonna have to check that out.

However, I have seen Requiem for a Dream and almost vomited the first time I saw it. The worst scene is when the girl is on that table and there is the double sided dildo and there's like crap coming off of it. Ew, gross.

Armed with a raw, provocative script penned by 19-year-old Harmony Korine (Gummo), controversial photographer-filmmaker Larry Clark follows a group of aimless New York teens around the city with few parents and even fewer boundaries. Telly (Leo Fitzpatrick) is on a mission to deflower as many virgins as possible with an addle-brained theory that boffing first-timers will protect him from contracting HIV. Trouble is, he already has it.

Synopsis from Netflix

Wow, in a really weird way, it sounds like an awesome movie. Extra bonus is that I have netflix too. Thanks for the suggestion!

Kids was interesting too. Not sure I really would want to see it again, though. I've never heard of Irreversible, though.
