I want to play the new mappppssss. I have the maps on my HDD and can play them on XBC as long as someone else chooses the map but I need to update my H2 to 1.5! Does anyone know how I can do this without Jtagging my xbox? Please? Thank you

Is the sole reason your updating to 1.5 to get access to all the new maps?

If thats the only reason see this post. I covered this problem, and it might be similar or not. Let me know if you need 1.5 for something else, and I'll dig around and see what I can get.

but isn't mainmenu.map on the halo cd itself? I don't have a modded xbox and can't get the game to run off the harddrive :/ is there another way? I've done hours of googling but have come up empty handed.

I don't know how to trigger DLC updates for original xbox games without a JTAG. We can trigger regular 360 updates, but the package format for originals don't work like that.

Here is the update for JTAG. Maybe you can find a way to use it.

mr xrayted, do you have a Transfer Cable or any equipment that can open up to the hard drive and view the files? Cause if you do, then you can just download the DLC maps and put in the $c folder.

I already have all the maps but they won't read because i don't have the proper updates.
