Welcome to my final tut I won't be typing too much as there's over 30 pics and it quite obvious.
Ok as you can see in this pic the top silver/chrome is not paint but a plastic. Remove it.

Now you can stop her if you like and it will look different from all other controllers but you can't spray paint it as there are holes in it.

Heat up a knife and melt/smothe out the edges of the X you won't get all of it so don't try to overkill it.

From now on you will work waring gloves because the natural oils in your skin will not make it easy for the paint to stick. So what you want to is leave it in boiling water and soap for 15mins and go
straight to sanding while it's wet.

What you want to do is now sand it down I used my dremmil with a sanding attachment. If you go this route or by hand what you want to do is keep on sanding it until you can no longer see any trace of the X. Start out with some very rough sandpaper/glass paper then move down to a smother one what this allows is to let the paint absorb further into the surface and give it a nicer look.

Drill the hole and remove the internal button and fill it with hot glue(you can add LEDs at this point to make it glow.
If you do do that make sure you drill a hole on the side to put your LEDs through.

Find a design you like on the Internet I liked this one so I did it the lazy way and contacted a vinel company to make me some as a custom order. :)
They were quite cheap £5 for 5 (£5 is a minum order for them but get a few as I messed up my first button and messed up one of the stickers so get like 4-6 atleast)

Now what you want to do is lay down your primary colour ads the sticker then your secondary colour.

After which give it 24 days to fully dry then remove the sticker to give you a nice design and your done.
I will be adding more pics as I'm waiting for some extra parts to arrive my controller is going to be sick.
