    Hey,
I have a problem now when trying to free up space on my jtag, I connect my HDD to my computer and just use Xport360 to access the files but when i deleted something using Xport360 it says the file is gone but does not free up any space on my HDD.
So now i have no free space on my HDD and i cant do anything about it. It says the games isnt there on Xport or going into look though an XeX Loader. Im really stuck here. In Xport if i go to view deleted files i can see what i have deleted but cant restore or delete again.
So my question is why when i deleted games using Xport do they delete but not free up any space...

Iv even noticed my XeX loading starting to freeze, i can still load up my emulators and such but not my XeX loaders for some reason... starting to get irritated.

If the games are showing up in xex older try deleting them from there if worst comes to worst and your xex launcher is being gay you may have to reformat your hdd and put everything back.

There is tons of problems with re-allocating the space after deletion.

You could use xexMenu or whatever application you use to use the file browser and manually do that, or use a program that works correctly with FTP (Freestyle) and work from FTP, but more than likely it won't connect since your HDD is messed up.

All those AIO programs out there that have a file browser might help. There all coded different, and you have to find one that works with your HDD.

Le Fluffie App is one option: http://www.mediafire...a37mkqr79334bqs

Or go get the Trial of FATXplorer for 7 days. http://fatxplorer.ea...s.com/purchase/

It worked for my stubborn drive.

In theory, if I was treating this as a computer drive, I would convert the file system, try wiping the free space, then converting it back to the original file system. Unfortunately, I don't know if you could do that.

The files are not even there when i use XEXmenu, it still says my drive is almost full even though there are no games or anything on it.

Yeah. You'll have to do the xbox's built in reformat, then just use a seperate program besides xPort.

It doesn't allocate at all. I have 2 games on my 60gb but its full. xPort didn't properly delete the other portions. Once I don't feel lazy I'll have to reset my HDD and slowly re-transfer the stuff.

I wouldn't mess with any formatting through the computer. That can only lead to bad formatting, and then it might not even be detected by the 360.

I'd pop the drive into any Xbox 360 you have and try this.

Start your Xbox 360 console without a disc in the tray.
On your console, go to My Xbox, and then select System Settings.
    Select Memory.
Highlight the storage device that you want to format, and then press the Y button on your controller.
    Select Format.
    You receive the following message:
This will delete all content on this device. Do you want to continue?
Choose Yes to format the storage device.
If you are asked to enter your console serial number, enter your number, and then select Done. This step helps guard against accidental formatting.

If you can load anything via any program, I'd back it up. You'll loose everything off the drive.

You can recover your account and re-download licensed content, but that does not include game progress in SP games that store progress locally.

Once you re-format it, assuming your jtagged. You can just re-plug the HDD back into your computer via a method that does not require internet (like FTP) and re-transfer the launchers of your choice. Weather that be Viper360, xexmenu, freestyle, etc. Then they will load on the jtagged box.

are you connecting by sata or usb cable? USB Xtaf Explorer works amazing with hard disks, but only supports sata connections.
Formatting on the xbox will fix your problem, but make sure to backup your files.
