God of War fans have been waiting a couple years to see how the battle between Kratos, the gods, and the titans will resolve. Now, Sony has finally given us a specific date to look forward to, announcing that God of War III will hit shelves on March 16.
In a post on Sony's official blog, the vague "March" release date we've been given for the last several months was finally clarified, so we now know exactly when we'll be bringing out our blades again and settling the epic conflict for Mount Olympus.
Since God of War III will pick up right where the last one left off, this would be an excellent time to go back and replay the original two God of War games for PS2 (conveniently collected on a single disc!) to refresh your memory about who is dead, dying, or about to be killed as God of War III begins.
